Budget box suggestions?

Looking to sort out my girlfriend's grandad with a box setup, so looking for something reasobably cheap and easy to use. I've had a skybox f5s for well over a year which has been really good for what I want from it. What's the latest skybox equivalent model out now? Any recommendations for the openbox v8s or anything else in the budget range? Thanks

For someone like your girlfriends granddad xspeed lx1 £79.99 wos once you have set it up nothing needs doing you can use the vix image as these are not clones.

Seems to me that the skybox has a lot of maintenance , so unless you are going to put in new channel lists every other week that a box with autobouquets would be more suitable, also by far a better EPG, so Mikes suggestion might be better than skybox type box.

How much were you planning on spending?

just got the xspeed x2 , slightly better and a tad dearer ( at world of satallite) but only if you have x2 cable in feeds for Sat, then you can watch whilst recording . might not concern you but worth a thought.
