Buffering on new isp

I recently moved ISP from BT infinity to sky Fibre max anyway for the past week I've had terrible buffering like every 30 sec making it unwatchable using the firestick smart iptv'' Supplier said everything is okay and I've never had problem before, I'm now using the sky q hub could this be the problem speeds seem fine.
 
Have you disabled the following.....

On Sky Broadband you must disable Sky Shield, to do so please follow these steps.

  1. 1. Go to http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-talk/broadband-shield/ if the webpage just takes you to the main sky page, just google "Sky Shield"
  2. 2. Hit the Sign In button
  3. 3. For some bizarre reason, Sky may forward you to the Sky.com home page, if it does, then reload http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-talk/broadband-shield
  4. 4. You will now see a page that says "activate Sky Shield", this does NOT mean your sky shield is off
  5. 5. Click active Sky Shield
  6. 6. Sky Shield is likely set to "suitable for everyone" or "teens and older", to disable it set it to "suitable for adults only" and click save.
 
I use Sly Fibre Max myself and do not experience any issues with IPTV, & i use a Firestick as a 2nd device.
I assume you are Setup Wireless on the device. Is this a 2nd Gen Stick, "As in Latest Alexa" or older?
What speed are you getting via Wireless on the FS?
And, most important... Install STUBEMU on the Firestick, Much better experience & TEST.
Have you also Tested on another device. PC, Laptop etc, do you get the same issues?
Have you Tested with Another Supplier?
You also mention you have only just moved to Sly from BT.
When you first move onto new BB or Fibre, they do a Test for a week or 2 to get your Average Speed worked out on your line, so this could possibly be causing this too

Its the latest firestick with Alexa I'm getting around 35/16 wireless,
It is still buffering on other devices.
I installed STUBEMU does it not used m3u? And what do I need to tell the supplier.
Speed wired on Xbox one is 76/19 mb and laptop when wired.

Do Talk-Talk have a shield
 
Alexa is a cow.. she talks random crap at silly o' clock
.usually like any app I turn it off. But what a persistent bit of clobber


Ps ..I love her really...
