cable drops out/pauses

when using my zgemma h.2h on a cable feed I am getting pauses and jumping on certain channels.

I have tried 3 brands of splitter, a CATV amp (with gain and slope controls), new cables throughout and a 6db attenuator but no joy. Also tried Dsayer's image and a hand built openATV v6.0 build, tried two newcamdlist.txt files from 2 different sources and the same happens.

under Signal finder setting I am getting

SNR 79%
AGC 9%
BER 0%

Anyone else got any ideas I can try?
 
try box in a different location as readings on these boxes vary+ it could be lan related and not signal.
 
hum, its hardwired to network. Tried at a friends and got same results.

I think it is the box, going to purchase an edision mini and try that
 
Not saying it definitely is as it does look like there may be other issues here but it might be a server issue too.
 
Yeah tried another test trail server same happening. Tried openVIX, tried openATV. Tried a star h2

Not sure what else to try apart from a different brand of box.
 
Could it be the tuner? I seem to remember reading zgemmas can be particularly weak with cable tuners.
 
my agc is 0% but snr is 99/100% but box works fine just glitches on premier sports wont worry two much about the agc tbf

I am using the edision mini
 
Any glitching on SD channels is your setup.
Any glitching on any other channels will be down to your server connection.
Some Channels can be hard to clear on some servers.
