Moving in with girlfriend soon, a new build and for a number of reasons Sky isn't an option.
I've been told I'm in charge of tv setup and can do what I like, as long as she is able to watch soaps and Comedy Central (for friends). I watch all sorts but can use IPTV quite easily.
My question is, if I went for the Vu+ Solo SE V2 twin tuner, would I be able to use it as a freeview box? I noticed the tuner is described as "TWIN HYBRID DVB-C/T/T2 TUNER". Do these allow connections to terrestrial tv aerial? Or does it need to be connected to cable?
Am hoping I can invest in the box regardless and then make the decision of cable vs IPTV at a later date (after a trial of each)
