Can it be done?

Hi all.
I currently own a Zgemma h2s but a family member has purchased a h2h and asked me to install virgin media etc for her.

I have never done this nor do I have virgin services within my house.
I have a sky dish etc.
Is it possible for me to do this so I can then send it on to her?

No. You won't be able to tune the cable channels

Would they auto tune for her? All I want to do is setup the box so she can plug it in and use it.

Not if you dont have vm in your house.
I set them up at mine with my net id test line, setup box then put the netid for the area the box is going so all they have to do is abm scan.

No you need to add the net id when you get to hers and scan, then the channels will be loaded into bouquets and if you a vm sub all will be good

Its the area id for vm mine is 41048 manchester even though am closer to Liverpool lol

You will need to add the line
Is she using just cable??
If so flash biohead image then add line set hdd up etc
Then she just has to scan channels

It can be done just harder not having vm yourself to test its working before posting.

Theoretically mate
Should be a case of scan channels
Restart cam
Channels clear

So in reality I shouldn't need to even plug anything in other than the hdmi.

Hdd or usb needs to be initilized by box also.
