Can't get box to load newcamd.list

Hi all, I am having some trouble with my new tm-twin. I am running the lastest openvix on it and have everything setup except the newcamd. I have tried ftp the file into var/keys, but the system doesn't see it there. any help would be great. Thanks
 
ok if the box or image is new you have do download plugins first then look for softcams mgcamd 1.38 for multiple tuners or 1.35 for single for nlines install and reboot,you should be able to send mg.cfg and newcamdlist list over to var/keys or usr/keys. dont forget to edit and save line info.
 
Hi cactikid, sorry should have put more info in the first post, I have installed mgcamd and rebooted, when I try to run the mgcamd it says that there is no config file in var/keys. I only have a newcamd.list file. What do you mean by edit and saving it.

Make sure you change the front end of your N line to read CWS =
 
Thanks cactikid and bees, have being trawling the net for those 7 or so lines of info for hours, the wife's nuclear meltdown is averted (till I do something wrong again!!)
