Changing to cable from openbox

hi all

Due to the current problems with sky channels I'm now looking to ditch my openbox v8s and move to a cable box instead.

I'm not looking for recording features or multi room or sky feed etc just a basic box that is functional for viewing what would be recommended? Would like the HD channels also if possible.

Thanks for any recommendations, I had a look in threads but they all seemed to mention technical details as opposed to basic functionality!
 
The V8 Golden is good for the price (Around £40) - doesn't work with VM Superhub 3.0 though and you need to sort out your own channels as there's no lists for these boxes.
 
Amiko Mini Combo Cable and Sat Tuners around £50 not many channel lists knocking around though so you'd need to scan.

If you adventurous go to a Linux box the Zgemma range have some cheap Cable/Sat combo versions to choose from.
 
Just bought the edision mini from word of satelight

not two hard mine works just need help with the abm to organise channel lists think was 80 delivered and 30 for a sub
