This is due to new pairing code on boxes that some servers use.
cable c/s like starviews are NOT effected.

yh im getting just black screen on them channels... im new to this, could you tell me why? and do they come back?
 
It is not something the end user will understand.So asking for fixes and im missing these channels is only gonna give Mr Tek and the mods more cleaning to do.Wait and see.All will be revealed.
 
think i have worked it out guys and will know by tonight

and yes nothing a box owner can do, its server end .
 
the new epg is one fact, but that would not knock off servers with new card pairing,

i did a check with my mate and killed HD on one card and got them back again and only them 5 channels are missing after
so its a sly thing, not box or server

but until he tests box and card lol who knows
 
Sky are switching off the ability to share HD channels. My provider has confirmed it.

SD remains unaffected as the older boxes still run the older f/w which cannot be updated for some legal reasons so the only way would be to resort to swapping them out of which there must be hundreds of thousands.

Thats how i understand it
 
Hi guys got an amstrad drx550 sd box, is that box one that wont take the new card pairing does anyone know, currently using a sky+ hd box, but whats currently happening I'm gonna swap not really bothered about hd

HD boxes are going.
Thus far gone are
Sly Arts 1 HD
Sly Arts 2 HD
National Geographic UK HD
History HD
Crime HD

Been told all HD will disappear in the next 2 weeks....but this isnt the end as a fix may exist...we must sit tight.
