Cable Channels suddenly stopped

watching TV and all of a sudden the picture froze,
(not unusual lately) but this time it didnt come back.
Flicking through the channels and all ‘paid’ channels are blank.
FTA channels appear to be ok.
Nothing was fiddled with, just watching tv and poof it went.

Internet is fine (rebooted router)
Zgemma network tests show green across the board.
On the box itself Line shows ‘running’ (restarted to make sure)

My provider has a web portal where i can log in and see also see my line is ‘running’ and plenty of time left.

Checked VM and no faults showing in my postcode (FTA working anyway)

Any ideas guys?
 
if you logged into the portal immediately after the line stopped, it will still show as active, there's about a ten minute delay, so check again

Also, check outside or nearby to see if VM are working on the cabinet or your cable hasn't been damaged in your garden

Portal still showing ‘running’ and everything ok
Can’t see and vm vans around my local street boxes.

Remember FTA channels are fine.

restart internet hub and h2h?

Tried a few times

try a test line to rule out the line it self

Good point, this is the only thing I haven’t tried.
Do you have one i can try?

it seems there's a server gone down somewhere, there's been a spate of these posts in last 20 mins
interesting...
if its the server im on, it probably buckled under the weight of subscribers lol

but seriously, i wonder if its a fault or a clampdown?

for those following this thread,
i just now tried a test line from a different provider and everything sprang to life
all channels appear to be working with the test line.

An update from my provider..

“A major cable impact in France has resulted in all **** services going down.

We have now had confirmation that the issue is being dealt with and should be resolved within a few hours.

Any further info and we will keep you informed.”

Are we now losing HD on cable turners[emoji102] all my HDs are now appearing as na [emoji30]
