using whooshbuild infinity on zgemma h2h
each morning all HD channels show as n/a (SS mix, bt sports 1,2,3,eurosport2, witness)
if i watch each one they become populated with channel name and program.
this info will then update for the rest of the day until the next morning when epg refreshes.
have i got to change a setting?

Try the following steps

Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> Autobouquets Maker -> Delete Bouquets
Once deleted run a scan.

Just doing a rescan after doing an update that seems to have left all my channels as black screen.
If i decide to rebuild with your build does it matter which option i use?

no, installation option 1 is the easiest but at the end of it both installation options give you he same thing at the end.
