hi everyone just a quick one I have a zgemma h5 with infinity I use a 64gb usb stick, for recording I have noticed it records great so when I delete a recording it goes in the trash can, then it gets deleted after 2 days as set in the recording program ,I noticed it deletes everything but I don't regain the used up bits of space I think I get back , so after 4 weeks it shows 48gb of space left on my usb so were is it hiding ,I have tried to find it in dream explorer , all I can do is initialize the usb and start again so if you can help it would be a godsend cheers

Why don't you just disable the trashcan and delete them immediately.

Mine disappear straight away and don't take up any space when I delete them.

Are you sure it's not timeshift that's eating your space?

MENU > SETUP > RECORDINGS & TIMESHIFT > TIMESHIFT SETTINGS

Check if timeshift is enabled and see what your timeshift buffer limit is and reduce it if necessary.
Timeshift on HD will take up about 5gb per hour unless you set it to delete on zap.
I don't have timeshift enabled but these settings are about right I think:
