DNS server address change

Hi all I've been looking on here all afternoon with no joy.
My line server has been shut down and he has emailed to say we need to
change the dns address but I'm not sure how to do this. I'm on a zgemma h2s box hope anyone can help me with this
 
yes as alcable says.... you will need to get the ip address of your box to put in the host in filezilla... select menu/information/network to get your box`s ip
you type root as username and leave password blank
 
this has happened in the past and alot of providers changed their details and should have emailed you with new details to edit old details.
 
My server emailed me the new details and i have ftp probably 10 times to no avail. Probably something i have done wrong but im pulling my hair out :(
 
Im using vix and no he didnt send a newcamd file just told me to update the dns address and provided a new one. I went to ftp deleted the old dns add and put the new one in saved and flashed. Box restarted but only fta still.
 
I believe we're with the same server and the line I altered worked fine. If your getting problems a email to the guy may help
