Do i need OpenATV 6.2?

Hi guys, ive bought a second zgemma H.2s. its already loaded with 6.1, would I be better going ahead with WB infinity from there, or would I be better flashing the box to 6.2?

6.1 is no longer supported
but you can flash whoosh with 6.2

I’ve got 6.2 ready to go on the usb, the box is just out the wrapper with 6.1 on it already, so is it just a matter of doing the flash to 6.2 via the usb method?

well depends how setup you have the box

well if you had set the box up with a usb already
you could have flash it ota flash

but if you dont just usb setup to the box. yea i would just flash it that way

Thanks @siilver, I’ve not touched any settings yet. It’s straight out the box already loaded with 6.1 so I’ll go ahead and flash it to 6.2

as long as you have the usb setup right

I’m sure usb goes in the front with the openATV 6.2 files unzipped and opened ready on a fresh clean usb stick whilst power is off, after turning on power press and hold the front power button until FLSH appears. Then let it do it’s thing. ?

@Sparkrite did it, it’s done, it’s great. One thing I would say when flashing, make sure the Zgemma folder is on the usb and not just the 5 files. It only works when the Zgemma openATV folder is on the usb.

Obvs this is to help anyone else reading this
