    hi guys
was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a twin tuner vm box.
Am moving our in a few weeks and have vm in the area and will not have a sky dish at the new place.

Currently have a zgemma h2s and zgemma h2h so anything close to these would be good that can run openatv or openvix.
    Budget is around 100 quid.
    Thanks

see what it's like with the H2h box before you buy a new one, the power levels etc could be miles out or worse still, the cable could be disconnected at the street cabinet

the h52tc is a better spec box, the h32tc is basically the h2s/h2h with the extra tuner

Haha yeh it was about that. The h52tc came and was £70.
It says it comes with openatv, haven't tried it yet.

If I create a backup image on my h2h can I move it over to the h52tc and everything will be the same. I cba to get openwebif, cache flush, media portal etc one by one.

No,. the H2H backup image will not flash on the H5.2tc you will need to set up from scratch

Thanks grog for the h52tc image.

Ok weird plot twist. The H2h worked at the flat, area code 00006. Both boxes work at home at area code 00013. Took at h52tc at the flat and doesn't tune on 00006 I get the message:
Failed on tuner c Please check the tuner is correctly configured. Then when I disable tuner c the same happens to b.
Weirdly enough when I do a manual scan it picks up all channels. Haven't put a line on yet but when you go to the full list by pressing down and then one of the colours where there are like 7 itv channels and 10 bbc channels I can find channels 1-5 by going through them and they seem to work fine.

updated abm config files and both boxes on abm 2.9. Is it possible the area net id for Swindon changed since the end of april?
I noticed on lists there are 2 different frequencies for Swindon under 00006 could this have something to do with it?

I have the same scenario on ID 00006. H2H works with ABM. H52TC 'failed tuners ' due to frequency change but populates via non ABM scan. Doing my head in....

Not just me then, its so weird both boxes have abm 2.9 both config files up to date, it might be something changed between the 24th and 7th I have a feeling if I take the h2h back to the flat it might not work that will put it down to a change, otherwise if the h2h works again for me then it has to be the box.
Would it be wise downgrading to abm 2.8? or does that version have the audio narration issue?

Stop using abm or bouquets until its fixed as your cable tuner scan should list all the channels.

No progress yet but haven't fully moved in.
I still wanna take the h2h back and see if it still works.
It looks like I will manually have to create the bouquets.
Or send lamedb files to someone who can write me a new xml which I then upload to get abm to scan properly.
