Posted this in general with no replies, and the same in the customer support, perhaps maybe someone here has had a similar issue?
I bought a hdmi switcher which is remote operated. I used to have an openbox v8s which when I used the D-Pad it would activate the HDMI Switcher and change input. Thought to myself what bad odds it is on the same frequency.
I've recently just got a ZGemma H2H and sometimes the D-Pad changes inputs of the switch too! I thought I had removed the issue but although it happens less scrolling down a list and then every now and then it switches and drives me mad.
Has anyone else had this issue? What are the odds if I buy a new switcher it'll be on a similar frequency. Do most of the remotes that come with these sat boxes use a generic signal? Can I modify things somehow, alternate IR ranges etc?
