Hi all

Well, i started out card sharing last week after i bought a Openbox V8, and to be honest its a great little box for the money.

That said, i have just taken the plunge and ordered myself a VU+ Zero HD Single Tuner Linux Enigma 2 Satellite Receiver from World Of Satellite VU+ Zero HD Single Tuner Linux Enigma 2 Satellite Receiver yeehaa

I have ordered it with the Vix Image pre installed.

My current Gift subscription is a N Line.

So, is there anything special i need to know about setting this baby up? I have seen a few threads regarding flashing some firmware on the VU+ Solo, is it the same for the Zero?

Any hints or tips would be great

If you have ordered it with the vix image installed you won't need to flash it.

Just use the setup wizard, load the softcams then ftp your line using filezilla.

Just miss out the steps for setting up the cable tuner

Don't forget to change the front of your N line to read
CWS = when you paste it into the newcamd.list file (y)
 
Thanks for the heads up, i would have missed that :)

I'm sure i read somewhere that i can get a Sly skin for the EPG, is this correct?
 
Yeah, I haven't bothered with skins but they are in the plugins section in the menu, by the softcams.
