External hard drive

I have a zgemma h 5.2 tc running wooshbuild , I have a 32gb SanDisk for recording , I've tried to upgrade with a 160 gb Hitachi hdd , I formatted to ext 3 with easus on a laptop but when I connect to the zgemma it's not showing , if the hdd isn't compatible would anyone know of a hdd that will work ? Thanks

Format it to Ext4 on your PC first and then try again:

Don't initialise on the box after doing this.
