Hi does anyone know if the WD AV-TV hard disk recorder is able to record what is shown on the tv screen. I watch all my tv through a Zgemma h2s box, via Samsung tv (year old). I have no aerial connection for the freeview,and was not sure if the external recorder only picked up broadcast from the aerial through the usb socket. Or has anyone else got another brand set up? I don't want a TiVo style box, or indeed a recorder box with a receiver built in. Much apriciate any responses regarding this question.
