Hi guys

Quick question, are you able to run 2 x external HD's, front USB and back USB on an h2h.
If so would it run smoothly, both would be initialized I guess.

My mate is asking the question, I've always been told only one. What would be the issues if he ran both?

I think the standard PSU would be under a bit of strain.
Should be fine if you use externally powered drives.

They would have different mount points ie /media/hdd and /media/usb so recordings for example would stored on just the one

So if the recordings were just stored to the one hd, this pretty much makes the 2nd one redundant / pointless. Is that what your saying m8.

no one hdd could be full of recordings and second can be used to record onto.i have a nas drive on network to send files to lower amount stored on internal hdd.

is this done manually? ie copying files to your nas drive, or do you have something set up to do it automatically?

no i do it manually with all units mounted i just select my movie to move and send to new position on nas drive.
