Finally got and setup the blade today and have to say I am impressed on how good it is. The only thing I was a tad disappointed with is that I mis-read info on streaming and thought you could stream from the box to the pc, not that I watched the dreambox via my pc that much.
Anyway a few questions
1) I have usb2 generic caddy with 80gb hd (for now) and teh speedtest showed is a poor even though I can get 30MB/s which isn't all that bad considering usable speed of usb2 is around 40MB/s max (you will never get the full 60MB/s). Recording and playback work fine for now just concerned that it shows the drive as slow.
2) how can you globally change the audio level to high?
3) I played an mkv file and got no sound, is this to do with the audio encoding? sadly I don't have any more mkv files to try but avi files worked fine.
