He just landed back to Earth. Set record by far for highest manned balloon and jump. Still awaiting verification of breaking Mach 1. Suit read out showed 729+ during free fall.

Unfortunately he was unable to break Kittinger's record for the longest time spent in freefall. Baumgartner fell for a total of four minutes and 22 seconds, while Kittinger's record of four minutes and 36 seconds.
