FireStick, can i sideload plex or

hope im in right section !
can i load movies on a firestick then watch them on my tv , (like a usb drive)
my old tv dont have a usb connection so wanted to put it on a firestick then watch.
i used to use now tv box and plex , but cant sideload apps now on nowtv, can i put plex or movies on firestick ?

You can but not much storage..it says 8gb and yes you can side load plex Kodi iptv etc.

Hi Mate,

is it a 2nd generation firestick? if so it already has built in support for playing files from a usb pen in apps like Kodi and vlc player etc. All you need to do is plug the usb pen into the usb port on an OTG cable available from the likes of amazon for about £4

Have a look at this link as it has an explanation of what the new firestick can support. The OTG cable is very useful for if you need to connect a keyboard / mouse etc to it.

I have one and have a Logitech wireless keyboard and receiver working fine with it.
