First (VU+) Box For Beginner...

@wooshman,

what type of power supply came with your new H2S as others have reported its somewhat different, ie; integrated with plug.

I dont' know I haven't opened the box, I am sick with the sight of them lol. I will open it now.

wonder have they dropped the voltage down with that new plug,shocking aint it as you cant plug it in as skirting board and floor no clearance lol
 
Many thanks for your input and suggestions - they have been invaluable. In the end it boiled down to a choice between the XTrend8500 and the VU+ Solo2. For an extra £50 I decided to go with the VU+

Order was placed today...
 
This thread has been very interesting for me as I will be looking to buy a new box soon, I have a Zgemma H2s which is a great box but I just want to see what all the hype is with the VU+ boxes.

I have used many receivers,
The last box you bought is Vu,
Ever since I saw the picture quality of the VU, I don't want to look at any other receiver.
