Freezing\Black Channels

Hi Guys,

I have got a ZGEMMA 5.2ts running Whooshbuild and an external USB Pen Drive.

I am a suffering from freezing channels\channels blacking out and only way to fix is to either wait or flick the channels back and forth.

I have spoken to my provider who informed to do a new channel scan (which i will do tonight) but the question I have is would the type of external drive being used affect the channels freezing or going black? It seems to happen ever 30 mins or so and can last from 1 minute to 15.

Hope you can provide some advice.

if it's not your line then it could be your connections, are you using a splitter? if so which one are you using? what cable are you using?

I am not sure, the cable and splitter are ones i had back in the day of the Nokia DBOX2's, etc and have not been a problem, though I can purchase new ones if required, what would people recommend?
