Need more information

What channels are you having issues with ?
Is 1 -5 in standard definition freezing ?
Have you got the correct splitter etc

Seem to be having trouble with discovery, itv 2 plus 1 was freezing last night along with itv hd,
Splitter I’m using is a 5 - 2400 MHz
Tried resetting the internet and the box still had issues
And my supplier just tells me he doesn’t know

IME there's always one or two jittery channels, usually +1's and sometimes the lesser watched channels, this is to be expected when you are only paying a few quid a year.
Hows the sports and movies? - near perfect I should imagine, as will Sky One and 95% of the rest of the channels

Sky one can be quite bad sometimes as can sky 2, I understand it’s not going to be perfect but when it’s freezing every couple minutes on channels it’s not worth it

Often it's at the customers end, faulty splitters, poor quality cabling etc counts for a lot.
What name is on the splitter?
are all cables properly connected and not frayed at the connectors?

have you tried using a different cam?i have been using mgcam for a while and has sorted a few freezing problems out.

Its a labgear splitter and cables were sent with the box and have the crimped ends on but they are slightly longer than need so are coiled up under the tv unit, was thinking of shortening but I guess crimped connections are better

How do I get a new cam, speak to the person I got it off ??
He’s told me to take it round someone else’s house and try it there
ask your supplier if hes able to help you install mgcam,if not, making a new thread im sure someone can help you out, if not message me and i'll try my best.

Download the mg_cfg file from downloads and try that in place of the softcam you're using now

also, what's the power levels like from the router?
on the side or bottom of the router there should be a 'settings password'
type 192.168.0.1 into a browser and click enter, use that password to log into the router

advanced settings
tools>network status> click on downstream tab
copy and paste the snr and dbmv data here

Cheers thinking about just getting a new line of someone else and trying that
Be worth it just for someone who’s more helpful

those look ok, but not sure if those numbers are 8 or -8
if they are 8 and 9 then ok, if they are -8 and -9 they're not ok
