fta problem

hi can anyone help seem to be having problem with fta channels, picture seems to break up and freeze esp on itv, not sure if i need new lmb or out of tune . grateful for any advise thanks..

Could be LNB or Dish alignment or if you have a short on your f connector the braids touching any metal or the core being bent whilst you've screwed the cable in?
Has it been ok during the fine weather?

have you tried a rescan for channels?

Wouldn't have thought it would need a rescan mate if picture is breaking up more likely dish or lnb related or box is overheating if its on top of another electronic box are the usual things.

Go to ITV and then open up Signal Finder.

OpenATV is

Menu -> Setup -> Service searching -> Signal finder. This will show you the signal strength for that channel.
You can then go to other channels, do the same and see your results.

It is cheaper to give the dish a knock if you think it could be out than to get a new LNB and fit it.

k m8 been doing on smart tv as well with sky cable in on normal digital tv and smart iptv.

if it's doing it on iptv as well as sat/fta, it could be the hdmi cable

Have you got an hard drive so you can record a channel then the twin tuner will switch to other tuner see if that's the same, has sometimes one of the connectors is on its way out on the lnb but other connectors are still fine.

Do you mean IPTV or have you got a cable from dish connected to your tv as well?
