Genuine or Clone Vu+ Solo?

evening all

before I start messing with my box which has worked well for nearly 2 years, I have become aware of "avoiding clone boxes" etc

as a novice can someone give me some pointers on the difference between Genuine and Clone?

what image is on box,if you had a clone box on original image it would have died a while ago.

originally it had Black Hole Vix if I remember correctly . I had a prob with it and my provider reloaded it with OPENPLI.

since then apart from a gremlin or 4 it has been fine.

now I need a new provider as I cant contact him anymore, I thought I should check?

are there any physical differences I should look for?
