Getting Virgin on H.2s box

Morning.

I have the H5 and mines working superbly but a mate bought a H.2s box and sky gift about 4 months ago and obviously with all the channels going he's left with just a free view box, he has a sly dish and VM broadband, is it possibly to get the channels back, I'm asking as he's not that technical and has passed it on to me.

I believe the h2s will only run satellite so no,,he'll need a h5 or something els that'll run cable and hook it up to the virgin line

hi,im interested in this,as ive been told if the box is wiped and scanned with virgin the channels are all still working,as long as u have ur line details backed up,give it a whirl mate.i cant even get virgin where i live or else i would of tried it already.
 
There no way a satellite tuner will pick up cable channels, so he will need to by a cable tuner box m8...
