Glitching on ATV 5.3

Evening all,
Apologies if the answers to this are posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything when searching.
I'm pretty new to this but I have been managing to solve most things as they crop up so far ...
I have a new Zgemma h2s running OpenATV5.3 .. i followed the OpenATV5.1 install guide as a reference and it all went ok ... except I am seeing glitches on SD as well as HD channels every 20-30 seconds.
Should I be looking at my internet router? or a setting in the OpenATV software?
I'm running a 256MB swapfile, and at the moment I don't have a USB or hard drive connected

any pointers most welcome,

If your only using the boxes internal flash memory that will be the reason, you need one of the following: SD card in SD slot, a HDD or USB, the swapfile if you use it goes on that, these boxes have very little internal memory

Thank you for the quick response. I will get my USB stick back off my Daughter and redo the swap file :) and try again later tonight. Thanks again
