A good friend of mine passed away recently and at his funeral we were remembering what a big fan of westerns he was, this led to us discussing what we all thought to be our favourites, so any western fans, whats your top 5, heres mine 1: Shane, 2: Shenadoah, 3: The man who shot Liberty Valance, 4: The Searchers and 5: The Magnificent Seven (original version).

I see a few people mentioning The Good the bad and the ugly, yes great western but just out of my top 5, but when we were having the discussion at the funeral, i was the only one out of 6 people that didnt have it or any of the other spaghetti westerns in the top 5.
