H2H only standby light showing.

Hi my friend and I purchased zgemma h2h, mine is working good no issues but my friends is only displaying the standby light. It worked good for about two weeks before this issue.
The person we purchased from is not willing to take the box back or repair it as he is saying I gave it in working order, pls could someone tell me what is wrong with this box, I have tried to load images on it via usb but as I press the white button the back it just shows the red light and nothing else.
Please help.

For here, give us a bit more information, what image is on the box? Describe exactly what happens from the moment you plug the box in, does it say anything on the LCD?, the more info you give us, the better able we will be to help you.
