Just searched for updates says there are 197 updates available and the image is out of date but says my box will not boot after such a long time. But the new flash will increase stability. But the update is done at my own risk. So what do I do update or just leave it? Is there no way you can just do it a few at a time ?

Take a backup, try update if it breaks just reflash. Chances are it wont break though

The standard image does not have mgcam installed if you install a new image it will be FTA and you will need to add plugins standard images are here http://www.zgemma.tv/. If it works don't break it

I'm on the whoosh build so all I've done is a work around, I did online flash of the latest build, which has now come with the updates already in.
