Half decent cheap box needed.

Hi everyone

After Sly tv went down I went out and bought a mag 256 but I cant cope with the crap services of IPTV, so im after hoping over to Virmin. Cut a long story short iv wasted 80 quid on the mag box so not a right lot of money left, what cable tuners are out there for folk on a budget?

Not after nothing fancy, just a working watchable tv with epg. Thats it.

No not bothered about recording or anything like that, just a simple player is all im after. We dont watch alot of tv but when we do it be nice to watch it without interuptions lol

There's the V8 Golden for around £45 - doesn't work though if you have a Superhub 3 model and it's more difficult to set up.

I have an Openbox V8s and an Cloud Ibox 2 plus. Basic but did the job perfectly.

Ah that's a shame, if you had the zgemma h2.s, you could possibly have replaced the second satellite tuner with a cable one for only £30.

A v8 golden or h2h are your cheapest similar cable boxes to these 2 but if you want 2 tuners then then h52tc as stated.

I have heard they do if you use a VPN router but again, that's more expense so defeats the object of paying cheaper for the box when overall it works out more expensive.

Plugged straight into a Superhub 3 though, they deffo don't work as I have one and had to go back to the old Superhub 2AC model.
