HD channels without sub

Is it possible to get the same HD channels that freeview has on Zgemma without a sub?
I'm just curious.

no, on cable all you can get is bbc 1 & 2, itv and channels 4 &5 in SD. You need a sub to get any other channels

It's a combo. I had a motorised dish but took it down cause it was knackered.
I've got a decent cable sub anyway.
I was just curious but I suppose when you think about it you have to pay for HD channels with vermin so need to have a sub even for freeview HD channels.
