HDD vanishing

does anyone know off top of there head why my HHD on the VU+ box vanishes when i FTP over to it? i have to reflash my image from a back up on mu USB.

any help would be gratefully apperciated

there are very few hd channels left on 28.2,you have not been reading the threads.

or do you mean your internal hdd is not seen and if this is the problem your hdd is not set up correctly.

Hi yes i do mean the hdd ( harddrive) it must be set up correctly i have a full image backup on my pc which i put on a usb stick reflash and the drive is there, no problems can time shift and record.Its when i ftp over to the vu box then reboot the vu the harddrive isn't there then i have to reflash the image to get it back on..

what image and setup did you use so we might find something even buggy firmware.

Hi im using Vix image, the back i have works fine it always puts it back to how it was, ive just sent a enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2_201209301945_all.ipk file over and instead of a restart ive only restarted the enigma this seems to have not made the hard drive disappear.
