help with blade 8000 required

Hi, friend has just bought blade 8000, how do you enter cline information? Is there a 9991 menu?

Press 9991 on any channel if no menu appears 9991 needed from downloads, BM8000 July 2015 Firmware - Downloads - TechKings (assume this has the 9991 option)

I have followed this post to the letter but I can definitely say it does not work on a Blade BM8000.
It just will not connect when you hit the red button. Nothing happens - it just stays disconnected. I have purchased two different lines and it is still the same.
I haver rebooted, set DCHP to ON in I.P settings etc etc.
Folks any ideas welcome before it goes back on ebay? (Brand new unused). I have checked my router home page and the box is connected hard wired.
I am usually pretty savy with this type of thing but this has me stumped.

You need the 109p firmware here

Right guys ive sussed it I think................
Its got nothing to do with the firmware, rebooting, internet connection etc.
The Blade BM8000 does not seem to like CCcam protocol. As soon as I put in a Newcamds protocol it connected straight away. For anyone else having the same issue ask your provider to swap protocols and try it.
Please post your findings.
