HD51 4K help with oscam on mutant hd51

Newbie looking for help, please.

Flashed latest version of OpenVIX and installed the latest oscam plugin from the plugin downloads. I can access the web admin for oscam but the setup seems to be incomplete - do I need some base files?

There are no files in the folder /etc/tuxbox/config, placing my oscam.server file in the folder makes no difference. I have changed the oscam.server file from within the web browser by clicking on files -> oscam.server and pasting the details. I have copied the file from @Willo3092 (obviously changed the appropriate details) but its still not working.

The strange thing is that the oscam.conf within the browser does not exist, not sure if that's normal!!
 
Thanks, replaced all the files in the "/etc/tuxbox/config" folder, updated the oscam.server file and getting the below in the logs

Every minute or every two minutes I have freezers for half a second. Can someone please help?

Try the config file in the download section, FTP it in using filezilla or similar.
Edit your server details (it's set up for newcamd reader)
 
Everything is in the config file in the download section.
If you have a newcamd line it's all set up for you.
Just edit the oscam.server file with your details.
 
Wow - new user here - Box on way Mutant HD51 4K...........trying to read up before I get box...........its like a different language !

Not had box since a Pace MSS1000 in 90's - my MUTANT has 2 cable tuners so I can record one and watch another at same time.
Think I'm going to really struggle reading this thread - my box is from WOS with openvix I think and a 1tb hdrive.
Would I need 2 lines to be able to watch one and record one ?

If your using Atv go to e2 comunity they have a flash file for hd51 which includes Oscam just flash file and edit server file with your line in use/keys and your done

Seems daunting at first but there's plenty of help available ;-)
 
I have major problems only on one or two channels with my mutant hd51, ecm times goes from low to high and freeze, could it be server issue even if its only on two channels on whole satellite?
 
I'm not sure about them Channels at the moment, might be a tree in my way to swing the dish round to that satellite.
I'll have a go tomorrow and see what's happening and let you know what I find.
 
Will post some oscam settings from my box,maybe there is something that i can tune for better performance or maybe something isn't setup 100% right, some pros in here could maybe solve it :)


My oscam reader file is quite basic, have heard that it's best so, but maybe that's wrong.


What I can see my username for my Cline isn't setup anywhere else than in the reader file not in oscam.conf or oscam.user if that matters?
