HD51 4K help with oscam on mutant hd51

Will post some oscam settings from my box,maybe there is something that i can tune for better performance or maybe something isn't setup 100% right, some pros in here could maybe solve it :)

My oscam reader file is quite basic, have heard that it's best so, but maybe that's wrong.

What I can see my username for my Cline isn't setup anywhere else than in the reader file not in oscam.conf or oscam.user if that matters?

Here we go, I'm leaving my correct username on oscam.server so anyone maybe can spot something wrong in the other config files.

Looks ok that set up.

You could try the oscam for CCcam 2.1.3 or 2.3.0 (it's downloadable from the panel you may have used )

Takes a bit of setting up as you will need to manually add all the caids of Channels you want to clear in the oscam.user file.

I've just been faffing around with it and got it working great.
Just gone back to a fairly standard config now to see if there's any difference.
I'm finding some small glitching on certain Channels.
Only just got the motorised dish set up. Can't pick up all the sats I want as I've an issue with trees.

i could teamvier you mate and check the configs
Sorry to bother you but I noticed that you sorted the Oscam problem for someone else using something called team viewer. Is there anyway you might find the time to help me? I have had my Technomate for a week now being trying to set up and just about to throw it through the window. really sorry to bother you and totally appreciate that you are probably to busy. But if you don't ask you don't get.

I got a Mut@ant HD51 flashed with Vix from WoS a couple of weeks ago, little knowing that I would have to use Oscam. Have been trying on and off to get it working using any information I could glean from this site and others. [IPTV works OK]

In the Livelog I get a line:
can't resolve abc.xxxdns.net, error: no address associated with hostname

Can anyone help me get this oscam working?

Yup sounds like DNS issue. Check spelt right or try IP address if you have it.

Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L31 using Tapatalk

Thanks. It is spelt correctly and furthermore I have tried a different address with same "no address" message. Both of the two different addresses are known to be working.

I don't know what Virgin sh3 means so I suppose the answer is "No"

Quick search on Google suggests it's something to do with Virgin Fibre.

I am using the Mut@ant with the satellite tuner option.

I don't know what I have done but I have got the Oscam to work on
a different server. I have now unaccountably lost the IP channels but
probably it is a matter of reentering the W get file.

Guys, I have managed to get OSCAM up and running for my Mutant HD51 (Thanks for all advice on this thread). I downloaded one of the example config contents and then editedreplaced the oscam.server file - as i used a ccam to oscam converter to generate this & all good.
HOWEVER, my box sticks every 60 secs for about 1 sec & then resume...now I am a complete novice to this & am probably totally off piste, but looking at the file logs it appears it keeps checking for 'dvbapiuser', then looking at the oscan.conf file I see this user is enabled & also see boxtype = dreambox. Question is do I need these entries on my Mutant box?

I only have 1 N line running newcamd protocol.
vermin provide my cable.

I suspect this constant checkingh is what causes the box to stick. Any views on this?
(Do others running oscam on Mutant HD51 experience same issue - when just running vermin?)

Cheers....

Copy and paste your oscam.server so we can have a look (take out the sensitive information)

Should look something like this

[reader]
label = TV1
protocol = newcamd
device = your.server.com,port
key = 0102030405060708091011121314
user = username
password = password
group = 1

Hi
I know this is an old post. probably I should open a new one. I have not been able to work out the Oscam software.
I have tried hard for the last three weeks.
I have lost all my hair in the process, but not joy. Mind you I have been a Satellite enthusiast for over 20 years, why on earth
the new 4K have decided to get rid of all the old cams?

What image are you running?

If openvix have you got a softcam feed in plugins ?

Have you downloaded any versions of oscam ?

Plenty of help available, just ask ;-)
