Help with TechnoMate TM-NANO-OE

Hi guys,

A mate of mine gave me his box to try and put a new sub on it but whoever set it up put a password on the FTP connection and he can no longer get in contact with this guy. Can anyone advise me the best thing to try? Would I be better off to wipe the box and set it up again and can anyone provide me with instructions to do this. Thanks guys

Forgive me I'm not really familiar with these boxes I mostly use Skyboxes, where do i find what firmware is running?

Ive tried to ftp to it through windows explorer and Filezilla

Did you just put in Box ip address then root then press quick connect

Yes Ive tried password and dreambox as well as the password

In host just put in ip address username root leave others blank press quick connect

Try Dreambox control centre Ftp program

Status: Connecting to 192.168.1.102:21...= wrong ip,open another session

add 192.168.1.102 which should match ip on box double check it/change if needed.
