im in the market soon "next few month" for a new projector "upgrade" for around 300-500quid max HD and 3D if possible anyone have any opinions or experience on a decent projector for home viewing, so many too choose form but would like peoples opinions if they have one already int hat budget and what make/model

Optoma Dlp projectors are good and a decent price. Google to see reviews of the different models.

I used to have a optoma dlp 65 inch tv fantastic picture years ago well built also. Think the bulb life in the dlp projectors is longer life as well but not 100% sure.

I wouldn't bother with 3d.

Bit more details please on the space you will have it setup in and the type of screen you have or do you want to replace that as well?

Agree mate 3d being fazed out now by most if not all Tv manufacturers.

i have always used cheap chinese led projectors,the 2000 lumens ones useing a white wall,I had a benq one and when the bulb went they wanted about 150 for a bulb.If the bulb goes in the led one you can buy a new projecter for around 75.My advice buy from ebay and if its no good send it back,ebay backs the buyer every time.
