House has VM connection but I'm on ADSL, can I still use ZGemma for cable?

No Satellite install here I'm afraid, so my only route is a cable receiver. Don't want to end up plugging into a dud connection and wasting a whole bunch of effort and money.

why don't you subscribe to virgin internet? that way you'll have a LIVE line then. the only way you'll know if it's live is to test it with a receiver.
