How do I put my Sony Ericsson W880i in File Transfer Mode?

Hi,

My Sony Ericsson W880i has a broken case and the screen doesn't work at all so I have a new phone, but before I get rid of the old one I want to get my photos and things off it onto my PC. The thing is, to do this it needs to be in 'File Transfer Mode', and I can't see how to do this with the screen not working.

So, I'd appreciate it greatly if someone with a W880 or W880i could guide me through how to put it in File Transfer Mode blind, i.e. how many times to click right or down etc. till it's done. I can get onto the main menu and find the Messages or Settings sections etc. from memory.

Hi Alan,if the pictures are on a memory card on the phone then you could just remove that and use an adaptor or another phone with similar card slot to hook it to your pc and transfer them that way.
