Hi,

Just been given an N line to test on my Technomate running Openvix Apollo but not sure how to set this up. Anyone able to help??

The N line is in the format:

N: server port username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

I've installed oscam and Cccam2.3.0

you have to create a Cccam.cfg file i usue (notepad++)
download filezilla
find out the ip adress of your sat box
goto your pc open filezilla type in the ip adress of your sat box the passwors is root
drag the Cccam.cfg file into var/etc

Great, thanks!

In the newcamd.list file what are the first 4 lines? Do I just keep them as is or do I need to delete lines 2,3,4?

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1
CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2
CWS = cardshare8.ddns.net 2200 password password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server 1

CWS = cardshare8.ddns.net 2200 password password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server 1
cahange this one yo your line

on new vix images it may have changed as the cams are downloaded by your plugins mgcamd1.35a and using ftp insert your line on notepad via filezilla,no upk file needed now for apollo.

people should know the following

on some servers- u can use nline (url and port) as the same as mgcamd ( oscam )

BUT on servers that use multics, the server has diff ports, for cccam, newcamd and mgcamd

so a nline say with port, 45000 will not work as mgcamd if the mgcamd is set to 46000

thanks gmangt4. i wanted to confirm to make sure I've got it right. I put both files there. I'm running mgcamd 1.35a and can't get it to work.

I'm running a cccam ok at the moment and wanted to give this a try but as I can't get it going I'll probably give it to someone with an Openbox M5 to give it a try. My VIX-based Cloud iBox 2+ doesn't seem to like mgcamd :(

as gmangt4 says remove CCcam and remove your cccam.cfg from the system too, alos try upgrading the MGcam 1.38 as that might work.

When starting mgcamd I stop and disable cccam from the startup. I just renamed the cccam.cfg so it's not picked up but still can't get mgcamd going. I'll try one last time tonight to get mgcamd 1.38 and then I'll say goodbye to it. Save for the uefa games, I've spent more time fiddling with mgcamg than actually watching tv through the receiver :)

You will to remove the actual cam not the file cccam.cfg.....remove it in, remove plugins, softcams

If your not sure then wait until you have loads of time in case you issues.
