How to set up BM5000s PVR???

Hi I got the box on Friday not sure how to set up the PVR, im using the same USB HD drive I was on BM7000s, but everytime I try record a channel and then watch it it says 'invalid file'. I have re formatted the drive using the box but still no luck can anyone help thanks...

and are there any decent latest channel lists available other then the rubbish Blade Online ones?

Format the HDD on your computer,Fat or NDFS it should read either.

Then follow e second part of th tutorial here

thanks for the reply, I formatted it when I got the BM7000s few years ago as FAT32 so do I need to do it again for this, thought it would just work?

Anyway I'll do that see if that works thanks again

If you have formated it on the BM7000 box you will
need to re do it on a computer, the 5000 and 7000 use
different file types

cheers working now, forgot how to format the drive so used the tool from blade website but that was for BM7000s, hope that doesn't matter, but anyway it works
