How to update to V 3.41???

how do i update to v3.41 on ps3?

i want to be able to do this by using the USB Pen Drive connection on the PS3

dont know where to start, any tutorials about that someone can rustle up for me?

There really isn't much to it, and I see you was able to get it figured out. While I usually steer clear of the $ony site, they do offer good explanations on the update methods and how to go about it.

was nervous to do anything as it is my brother's PS3.. but im 50% there :)

Fairly simple process as long as your folders are named properly.

i've successfully updated to 3.41 now waiting for the PSJailBreak USB to come, bought it from R4kings.com or something like that anyway.
