I've been looking at the streaming side of things over WAN. All works great away from home using VLC after port forwarding 8001 (streaming port) and forwarding the OpenWebif port. I've now also enabled authentication for the http stream. *Settings -> customise*. Without this, someone could stream from your box with no problems as long as they know the "SSID" of a channel.
Problem is. The credential box that pops up when http stream authentication kicks in is not the usual root/password as it is for OpenWebif. Does anyone know what creds http stream authentication uses? I figure it must be a config file somewhere but I'm not sure where.
