I have 4 recordings running at same time? how is this possible !!!! Help lpease

I have just been playing around with new hard drive to make sure all ok !

I have just put 4 channels on record and they are all recording ?

How is this possible ?

I have gone into the timer and all 4 channels are recording and all play back !

How is this possible with only 2 cables

They run on the same frequency on some channels ,you will find when recording on 2 different channels you can still watch certain other channels
