I'm stuck!

Hello,

Okay so I am a noob to all this, first box i've used and managed to get my head around some of it, after much fiddling around I finally got some channels working but they only seem to be the freesat ones, rather then the sky ones.

I do have a CCCAM.cfg and it says its a n line, so do I use CCCAM or Magdcam?

Now the issue I have noticed is something called "SNR", my SNR% is only about 50% on some channels even going as low as 30% which I do not get any visual display, this is on the sky channels.

How do I go about getting high SNR? Will I have to fiddle around with my dish outside to try get a better signal? Or have I really not set this thing up correctly, if so can someone forward me a guide and I will factory reset everything.

Thanks in advance

ok so with a n line you use cccam and put the n line in ver/etc

the snr could be down to the cable from the dish or the dish not lined up right

if people use nlines use mgcamd.and newcamd.list.
and clines use cccam.
did sucmnsee not do a tut for these boxes for people to read??

First what image is on the box? Did u flash or is it original atv?
Yeh sounds like allignment is out on dish.

With nline u should use the text in your CCcam.cfg in a newcamd.list file paired with a mg_cfg file both placed in /usr/keys running mgcamd is common opinion.

However it will work in a CCcam.cfg in etc folder on vix or usr/keys on atv using ccam.

If ur box is on orig image easiest way is cccam as simpler. But opinion is its less stable
