ip unconfirmed name server unconfirmed

anyone any ideas how to fix this done all the usual hard reset of box and router changed dchp to off and gave static ip still nothing i no the ip asigned to it works because i can ftp and openwebif into box no problem im on virgin broadband thanks in advance

change the dns to google's in nameserver settings
menu>setup>system>network>device setup>nameserver settngs
nameserver 1 set it to 8.8.8.8
nameserver 2 set it to 8.8.4.4
click green to save

reboot box and check that those settings are still there and away you go

ooo sorry took a minute all working now dogs balls mate question tho why did use to work before i changed that ?
