ipad security codes

hi i trying to get into my late brothers ipad but it asking for a 4 digit sec code which I don't have don't even know his iTunes account name is there anyway to get in there without wiping everything on it

Without his iTunes account name and password you can't even wipe it as it is required to reset it to factory settings.

Not sure if you ever got round to calling them, i doubt its going to help. if you recall the shootings back in Dec 2015 in San Bernardino the FBI wanted Apple to access the shooters iphone and Apple refused. They ended up working with a company based out of Israel to hack the phones.
